Abstract
The present invention provides an absorbent which is suppressed in leakage and back-flow of an absorbed liquid. An absorbent which contains a water absorbent resin, wherein: the water absorbent resin has a saline holding capacity of 45 g/g or more and a five-minute value of DW under no pressure of 45 ml/g or more; and the weight per square meter of the water absorbent resin in the absorbent is 50 g/m2 to 350 g/m2.

An absorbent body comprising a water-absorbent resin,
- wherein the water-absorbent resin has a physiological saline retention of 45 g/g or more and a 5-minute non-pressurized DW of 45 ml/g or more, and
- a weight per unit area of the water-absorbent resin in the absorbent body is 50 g/m2 or more and 350 g/m2 or less.
