An endoprosthesis having a length, a radius, and a circumference, the endoprosthesis comprising;
- a stent formed by a plurality of windings, the plurality of windings having multiple apices;
- a first film web coupled to two adjacent windings and exhibiting a first stiffness;
- and
- a second film web coupled to two adjacent windings and exhibiting a second stiffness greater than the first stiffness.

An endoprosthesis having a length, a radius, and a circumference, the endoprosthesis comprising;
- a stent having a plurality of stent elements forming a serpentine pattern with multiple apices;
- and
- a first film web attaching a first stent element to a second stent element, the film web including a web reinforcement.
