Abstract
The present disclosure relates to refillable, modular containers consisting of a disposable refillable section and a retained section. The refillable section is dislodged from the retained section by pressing a release button which separates the two parts. Proximal to the releasing section is a connectable hinging mechanism by which individual modular containers can be connected and rotated about the hinge.

A modular container device comprising:
- a first plate comprised of at least two detachable parts, at least one protrusion affixed to a first detachable part;
- and
- a first opening fixed within a first surface of a second detachable part, the first opening corresponding to the at least one protrusion and configured to receive the at least one protrusion,
- a second plate comprised of a second opening fixed within a second surface and configured to receive said at least one protrusion,
- wherein when the at least first protrusion is received simultaneously by the first opening and the second opening, the first plate is rotatable relative to the second plate.

A modular container device comprising:
- a first plate comprised of at least two detachable parts, at least one protrusion affixed to a first detachable part;
- and
- at least one first magnet contained within the first detachable part;
- and
- a first opening fixed within a first surface of a second detachable part, the first opening corresponding to the at least one protrusion and configured to receive the at least one protrusion,
- a second plate comprised of a second magnet contained within a second surface, wherein when the at least first protrusion is received simultaneously by the first opening, and the first magnet is attractively engaged by the second magnet,
- and the first magnet and the second magnet are oriented in the same direction,
- the first plate is rotatable relative to the second plate about a common axis shared by the first magnet and the second magnet.
