Abstract
Disclosed is a composition for improving stress tolerance of plants including at least one hydroxycinnamic derivative oligomer, and optionally a water-solubilizing agent. Also disclosed is a method for improving stress tolerance of a plant including applying such composition on the plant.

A composition for improving abiotic stress tolerance in plants comprising at least one hydroxycinnamic acid derivative oligomer, wherein said composition comprises at most 3% of hydroxycinnamic acid derivative monomer, expressed in percent relative to the total hydroxycinnamic derivative oligomers of the composition.
