Abstract
A method of outputting a pattern image includes outputting a first pattern image which is used in a phase shift method, and which includes a first luminance distribution based on a first period, and a second luminance distribution based on a second period.

A method of outputting a pattern image, the method comprising:
- outputting a first pattern image which is used in a phase shift method, and which includes a first luminance distribution based on a first period, and a second luminance distribution based on a second period.
A projector comprising:
- an optical device;
- and
- at least one processor, wherein the at least one processor controls the optical device to thereby output a first pattern image which is used in a phase shift method, and which includes a first luminance distribution based on a first period, and a second luminance distribution based on a second period.
A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing a program configured to make a computer execute processing comprising:
- outputting a first pattern image which is used in a phase shift method, and which includes a first luminance distribution based on a first period, and a second luminance distribution based on a second period.
