Service records augmentation system for storing and viewing a service record pertaining to a medical imaging device

A service records maintenance method, comprising:

• receiving and storing a service record of a medical imaging device including content entries storing content describing servicing of the medical imaging device, and at least one control entry storing executable code;
• displaying content stored in the content entries of the service record on a computer;
• and
• controlling the displaying by executing, by the computer, the executable code stored in the at least one control entry of the service record of the medical imaging device.

A non-transitory computer readable medium storing instructions readable and executable by at least one computer to:

• receive and store as service record of a medical imaging device including:
• content describing servicing of the medical imaging device, and at least one control entry of the service record of the medical imaging device which comprises executable code;
• and
• view the service record of the medical imaging device including executing the executable code of the at least one control entry to control the view of the service record.
