Apparatuses for improved electronic data storage andtransfer and computer-implemented methods of using the same

A portable solid state storage drive, comprising:

• a display configured to receive user input from a user and render data;
• a plurality of wireless networking processors associated with a plurality of wireless networking protocols;
• at least one authenticator;
• at least one device processor;
• and
• an assembled printed circuit board communicatively coupling each of the display, the plurality of wireless networking processors, the at least one authenticator, and the at least one device processor,
• wherein the at least one device processor is configured to:
• store a plurality of discrete files;
• connect to one of a cellular phone, a laptop computer, a desktop computer, a tablet, a wearable device, or a smart home device,
• wherein the cellular phone, the laptop computer, the desktop computer, the tablet, the wearable device, or the smart home device is distinct from the portable solid state storage drive;
• identify at least one of the plurality of discrete files;
• and
• transfer the at least one of the plurality of discrete files to the cellular phone, the laptop computer, the desktop computer, the tablet, the wearable device, or the smart home device.
