An information processing apparatus includes a determination unit configured to determine whether a predetermined function of the information processing apparatus has a use limitation, a setting unit configured to set information indicating a state relating to use of the predetermined function, and a display unit configured to display, on a display portion of the information processing apparatus, the information indicating the state relating to use of the predetermined function set by the setting unit, wherein in a case where it is determined by the determination unit that the predetermined function has a use limitation, the setting unit makes a setting such that the information indicating the state relating to use of the predetermined function includes information indicating that the predetermined function has a use limitation.
