Method for Displaying Different Application Shortcuts on Different Screens

A terminal, comprising:

• one or more memories comprising instructions;
• and
• one or more processors coupled to the one or more memories and configured to execute the instructions to cause the terminal to:
• display a first display interface, wherein a non-docked bar on the first display interface comprises an icon corresponding to a first application, wherein the first application is a latest installed application;
• detect a first user operation;
• and
• display, in response to the first user operation, a second display interface,
• wherein the second display interface comprises a first area, a second area, and a third area,
• wherein the second area comprises one or more most frequently used application icons, including an icon corresponding to a second application,
• wherein the third area comprises one or more latest installed application icons, including an icon corresponding to the first application,
• wherein the first area and the second area do not overlap, and the first area_comprises an icon corresponding to the second application, and
• wherein a top area of each of the first display interface and the second display interface comprises a status bar, and the status bar comprises signal, time, and battery indications.
