Abstract
An illumination device includes a plurality of light sources, each having a light-emission surface that faces a side opposite to a display panel; a light-source substrate that has a mount surface on a side opposite to the display panel, and that has light transmissivity, the mount surface being provided for mounting the plurality of light sources thereon; and a reflecting layer that is provided on a side of the light-source substrate opposite to the display panel so as to be spaced from the light-emission surfaces by a predetermined interval, and that reflects toward the light-source substrate light coming from the light sources, wherein the illumination device illuminates the display panel with light.
Claims13
An illumination device comprising:
- a plurality of light sources, each having a light-emission surface that faces a side opposite to a display panel;
- a light-source substrate that has a mount surface on a side opposite to the display panel, and that has light transmissivity, the mount surface being provided for mounting the plurality of light sources thereon;
- and
- a reflecting layer that is provided on a side of the light-source substrate opposite to the display panel so as to be spaced from the light-emission surfaces by a predetermined interval, and that reflects toward the light-source substrate light coming from the light sources,
- wherein the illumination device illuminates the display panel with light.
