An electronic device configured to be worn by a user includes a light-emitter that emits light onto skin of the user, a light-receiver provided at a position for enabling reception of the light reflected by the skin of the user when the electronic device is being worn by the user and the light-emitter is emitting the light, and a processor. The processor performs a skin determination for, on the basis of a quantity of light received by the light-receiver, determining whether the skin of the user satisfies a predetermined darkness condition, performs a being-worn determination for, on the basis of at least the quantity of light received by the light-receiver, determining whether the user is wearing the electronic device, and does not perform the being-worn determination in response to determining in the skin determination that the darkness condition is satisfied.
An electronic device configured to be worn by a user, comprising:
A method for controlling an electronic device that is configured to be worn by a user and is provided with a light-emitter that is configured to emit light onto skin of the user and a light-receiver provided at a position for enabling reception of light reflected by the skin of the user when the electronic device is being worn by the user and the light-emitter is emitting the light, the method comprising:
A non-transitory computer readable medium storing a program executed by a computer provided in an electronic device that is configured to be worn by a user and is provided with a light-emitter that is configured to emit light onto skin of the user and a light-receiver provided at a position for enabling reception of light reflected by the skin of the user when the electronic device is being worn by the user and the light-emitter is emitting the light, the program causing the computer to function as a controller, wherein the controller:
