Abstract
A method of treating an inanimate surface to provide malodor removal and/or malodor prevention includes treating the surface with a composition including at least 102 cfu/g of bacterial spores wherein the bacterial spores are selected from the group consisting of spores of Bacillus amyloliquefaciens strain D747 and a variant thereof, wherein the variant has at least 96% and preferably at least 99% whole genome sequence identity with Bacillus amyloliquefaciens strain D747.
Claims12
A method of treating an inanimate surface to provide malodor removal and/or malodor prevention, comprising:
- treating the surface with a composition comprising at least about 102 cfu/g of bacterial spores wherein the bacterial spores are selected from the group consisting of spores of Bacillus amyloliquefaciens strain D747 and a variant thereof, wherein the variant has at least about 96% whole genome sequence identity with Bacillus amyloliquefaciens strain D747.
A cleaning composition, suitable to provide malodor removal and/or malodor prevention to an inanimate surface, the composition comprising:
- bacterial spores selected from the group consisting of spores of Bacillus amyloliquefaciens strain D747 and a variant thereof having at least about 96% whole genome sequence identity with Bacillus amyloliquefaciens strain D747;
- a surfactant;
- and
- a perfume.
