Abstract
Provided herein are pharmaceutical compositions comprising a bacterial consortium and one or more pharmaceutically acceptable excipients. Such pharmaceutical compositions can be orally administered to a subject for prevention and/or treatment of dysbiosis, dysbiosis associated conditions, inflammation, and autoimmune diseases.

A pharmaceutical composition, comprising:
- i. a purified bacterial population comprising at least one strain of Akkermansia glycaniphila, at least one strain of Bacteroides thetaiotaomicron, and at least one strain of Lactobacillus aviarius;
- and
- ii. a cryoprotectant,
- wherein said pharmaceutical composition is in a solid or liquid dosage form.
A method of treating a subject that has or is at risk for developing a metabolic disease, said method comprising administering a pharmaceutical composition to said subject, wherein said pharmaceutical composition comprises:
- (i) a purified bacterial population comprising at least one strain of Akkermansia glycaniphila, at least one strain of Bacteroides thetaiotaomicron, and at least one strain of Lactobacillus vaccinostercus;
- and (ii) a cryoprotectant.
A method of treating a subject that has or is at risk for developing an allergy, said method comprising administering a pharmaceutical composition to said subject, wherein said pharmaceutical composition comprises (i) a purified bacterial population comprising at least one strain of Akkermansia glycaniphila, at least one strain of Bacteroides thetaiotaomicron, and at least one strain of Lactobacillus vini;
- and (ii) a cryoprotectant.
