Abstract
There is provided a set of surgical tools for spinal facet therapy for alleviating spinal pain, in particular for minimally invasive spinal facet joint or capsular treatment and/or surgery using mechanical ablation and electromagnetic ablation and/or coagulation. Moreover, embodiments of the present invention provides a method for treating back pain, in particular by carrying out a minimally invasive spinal treatment and/or surgery using mechanical ablation and electromagnetic ablation and/or coagulation, for example by using the set of surgical tools.

A set of surgical tools for spinal facet therapy for alleviating spinal pain, in particular for minimally invasive spinal facet joint or capsular treatment and/or surgery using mechanical ablation and electromagnetic ablation and/or coagulation, comprising:
- a first tool for performing mechanic ablation of a part of a target spinal facet joint or capsular, and
- a second tool using electromagnetic waves for (thermal) ablation of tissue and/or nerves and/or parts of the target spinal facet joint or capsular and/or coagulation of tissue and/or parts of the target spinal facet joint or capsular,
- wherein the first tool is configured to be driven by a hand-held grip.
