A method comprising:
- determining, using control circuitry, a first location within a video game environment of a first object;
- determining, using the control circuitry, a second location within the video game environment of a first avatar, wherein the first avatar corresponds to a user;
- determining, using the control circuitry, a first action corresponding to the first object;
- receiving, using the control circuitry, eye detection data related to the user;
- determining, using the control circuitry, a line of sight of the user based on the received eye detection data;
- detecting, using the control circuitry, that the line of sight of the user is directed to the first location and that a second object is located between the avatar and the first object;
- in response to detecting that the line of sight of the user is directed to the first location and that a second object is located between the avatar and the first object, generating for display, using the control circuitry, a graphic wherein the graphic includes a pointer along the line of sight of the user.

An apparatus, comprising:
- control circuitry;
- and
- at least one memory including computer program code for one or more programs, the at least one memory and the computer program code configured to, with the control circuitry, cause the apparatus to perform at least the following:
- determine a first location within a video game environment of a first object;
- determine a second location within the video game environment of a first avatar, wherein the first avatar corresponds to a user;
- determine a first action corresponding to the first object;
- receive eye detection data related to the user;
- determine a line of sight of the user based on the received eye detection data;
- detect that the line of sight of the user is directed to the first location and that a second object is located between the avatar and the first object;
- in response to detecting that the line of sight of the user is directed to the first location and that a second object is located between the avatar and the first object, generate for display, a graphic wherein the graphic includes a pointer along the line of sight of the user.
