Abstract
Aspects of the present invention relate to an injection device comprising a drive means, a plunger, and an intermediate member disposed between the drive means and the plunger and releasably engaged with the plunger thereby to selectively transmit force from the drive means to the plunger.

- i) a drive means;
- ii) a plunger;
- iii) a shroud;
- and
- iv) an intermediate member disposed between the drive means and the plunger and releasably engaged with the plunger thereby to selectively transmit force from the drive means to the plunger and from the drive means to the shroud.
