Abstract
A multi-purpose casing having a heavy-article support tray integrally formed therewith is moveable horizontally in a state of accommodating a plurality of bowling balls and is capable of reliably supporting heavy articles by integrally forming a plurality of space support trays for supporting heavy articles with a body defining the external appearance of the casing.
Claims9
A multi-purpose casing having a heavy-article support tray integrally formed therewith, the casing comprising a storage space partitioned in a vertical direction by at least one support tray provided therein and a plurality of casters provided at a lower portion thereof so as to enable movement in a horizontal direction or an inclined direction,
- wherein the casing comprises a body made of plastic and formed in a hexahedral shape having a predetermined thickness and comprising two side surfaces connected to upper and lower surfaces thereof and open front and rear surfaces, and the at least one space support tray provided on an inner side surface of the body in a height direction and a caster support portion to which each of the casters is mounted are integrally formed with the body when the body is formed,
- wherein the space support tray comprises
- a) a first support surface extending to inner sides of the two side surfaces of the body in the storage space and a cavity portion integrally formed therein so as to be connected to outer sides of the two side surfaces, and
- b) a first round portion formed in at least one side of the first support surface,
- wherein the caster support portion
- a) is integrally formed with the body so as to protrude inward or outward from the body when the body is formed,
- b) comprises a fixing section through which a bolt hole having a section having a predetermined depth and a predetermined thickness is formed, and
- c) is configured to allow a caster having a brake to be fixed thereto,
- wherein the caster
- a) comprises a fixing boss supported by the body via a coupling member and a drive wheel mounted to the fixing boss so as to be freely rotatable,
- b) is configured such that a positioning projection is provided on one side of the fixing boss and is supported in a positioning hole formed in one side of the bolt hole, and
- c) further comprises a guide ring made of metal and supported on an outer diameter portion of the fixing boss to prevent friction between the fixing boss and the bolt hole, and
- wherein the body is mounted so as to be movable horizontally and to enable storage and withdrawal of articles without falling of the articles by opening a door in a stopped state.
