A protein, designated as BBD29_14900D372N protein, is obtained by a mutation of the amino acid residue at position 372 of BBD29_14900 protein from aspartic acid to asparagine;

• the BBD29_14900 protein being (a1) or (a2) or (a3) or (a4) as follows:
• (a1) a protein set forth in SEQ ID NO:
• 3 in the Sequence Listing;
• (a2) a protein derived from a bacterium and having 95% or more identity to (a1) and relating to glutamic acid production by a bacterium;
