Abstract
An extrusion device includes a cylinder, a raw material feed port, a screw incorporated in cylinder, a die disposed at one end of the cylinder, and adjustment mechanisms. Raw material feed port supplies raw materials including resin into cylinder. Screw is able to melt the raw materials through kneading. Die includes a plurality of through-holes for ejecting strands made of molten resin supplied from cylinder. Adjustment mechanisms individually adjust ejection amounts of the strands ejected from the plurality of through-holes.
Claims16
An extrusion device comprising:
- a cylinder;
- a raw material feed port configured to supply raw materials including resin into the cylinder;
- a screw that is incorporated in the cylinder and kneads the raw materials, allowing the raw materials to be molten;
- a die that is disposed at one end of the cylinder and includes a plurality of through-holes to eject strands made of molten resin supplied from the cylinder;
- and
- an adjustment mechanism that adjusts individually an ejection amount of the strand ejected from each of the plurality of through-holes.
An extrusion molding die comprising:
- a main body portion in which a flow-in port, a plurality of through-holes and a flow path portion are formed, kneaded molten resin being supplied to the flow-in port, strands of the supplied molten resin being ejected from the plurality of through-holes, the flow path portion extending in a flow path direction from the flow-in port to the plurality of through-holes;
- and
- an adjustment mechanism that is able to adjust individually an ejection amount of the strand ejected from each of the plurality of through-holes.
A monitoring device for strands of molten resin ejected from a plurality of through-holes formed in a die of an extrusion device, the monitoring device comprising:
- an imaging unit that acquires an image of the strands ejected from the plurality of through-holes;
- a detection unit that detects diameters of the strands ejected from the through-holes on a basis of the image acquired by the imaging unit;
- and
- an output unit that outputs the detected strand diameters.
A non-transitory computer readable storage medium storing a program to be executed by a processor for causing a monitoring device to perform a method of monitoring strands of molten resin ejected from a plurality of through-holes formed in a die of an extrusion device,
- the monitoring device including an imaging device and a display device, and
- the method including:
- acquiring an image of the strands ejected from the plurality of through-holes by using the imaging device;
- detecting diameters of the strands ejected from the through-holes on a basis of the image acquired by the imaging device;
- and
- displaying the detected strand diameters on the display device.
A method of manufacturing a strand made of molten resin comprising:
- (a) supplying raw materials including the resin into a cylinder;
- (b) kneading and melting the raw materials by a screw incorporated in the cylinder;
- (c) ejecting a plurality of strands made of the molten resin from a plurality of through-holes in a die disposed at one end of the cylinder after the process (b);
- (d) measuring diameters of the plurality of ejected strands after the process (c);
- and
- (e) adjusting an ejection amount of the strand from at least one of the plurality of through-holes in accordance with the measured diameters of the plurality of strands.
A method of adjusting strand diameters of strands made of molten resin comprising:
- (a) measuring diameters of a plurality of the strands ejected from a plurality of through-holes formed in a die of an extrusion device;
- and
- (b) adjusting an ejection amount of the strand from at least one of the plurality of through-holes in accordance with the measured diameters of the plurality of strands.
