Abstract
A method is provided for operating an aircraft system. During this method, an electric machine of an electrical system is operated onboard an aircraft. A first set of electrical system waves produced by the electrical system is sensed. A set of electrical system attenuation waves is produced to attenuate a second set of electrical system waves produced by the electrical system in response to sensing the first set of the electrical system waves.
Claims20
A method for operating an aircraft system, comprising:
- operating an electric machine of an electrical system onboard an aircraft;
- sensing a first set of electrical system waves produced by the electrical system;
- and
- producing a set of electrical system attenuation waves to attenuate a second set of electrical system waves produced by the electrical system in response to sensing the first set of the electrical system waves.
1 more element
A system for an aircraft, comprising:
- an electrical system comprising an electric machine;
- and
- a noise attenuation system configured to
- sense a first set of electrical system sound waves produced by the electrical system;
- and
- produce a set of electrical system attenuation waves to attenuate a second set of electrical system sound waves produced by the electrical system in response to sensing the first set of the electrical system sound waves.
3 more elements
A system for an aircraft, comprising:
- an airframe;
- a propulsion system arranged with the airframe;
- and
- a noise attenuation system configured to
- sense a first set of sound waves produced by the propulsion system;
- and
- produce a set of attenuation waves and direct the set of attenuation waves in a downward direction away from the airframe to attenuate a second set of sound waves produced by the propulsion system outside and below the airframe in response to sensing the first set of the sound waves.
