Abstract
A secondary battery includes a first electrode, a second electrode, and a separator interposed between the first electrode and the second electrode. One of the first electrode and the second electrode is a positive electrode, and the other is a negative. The first electrode includes a first electrode active material layer, and the first electrode active material layer includes a first electrode active material, and a first fire retardant including a halogen atom. The separator includes a second fire retardant.
Claims12
A secondary battery comprising:
- a first electrode, a second electrode, and a separator interposed between the first electrode and the second electrode, wherein
- the first electrode includes a first electrode active material layer,
- the first electrode active material layer includes a first electrode active material, and a first fire retardant including a halogen atom,
- the separator includes a second fire retardant, and
- the second fire retardant includes at least one selected from the group consisting of a cyclic compound including a cyclic structure to which a halogen atom is bonded and having a ratio of the halogen atom relative to the second fire retardant of 45 mass % or more, and a phosphoric acid compound.
