A control method for controlling display contents that are displayed on screens of information terminal devices carried by a plurality of users who use a same shared vehicle, the control method comprising:

• extracting a group of users from the plurality of users based on passenger information of the plurality of users, the group of users being a group of users whose relationship with each other is a predetermined personal relationship;
• transmitting to information terminal devices carried by the users belonging to the group, via a communication device, first display information indicating a current position of the shared vehicle;
• and
• transmitting, in a case where a protection target user for whom a predetermined privacy protection requirement is satisfied is included in the group, second display information that is processed to protect privacy of the protection target user, to an information terminal device carried by a user not belonging to the group, via the communication device.

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing a control program that is configured to cause a computer to execute:

• extracting a group of users from the plurality of users based on passenger information of the plurality of users, the group of users being a group of users whose relationship with each other is a predetermined personal relationship;
• transmitting to information terminal devices carried by the users belonging to the group, via a communication device, first display information indicating a current position of the shared vehicle;
• and
• transmitting, in a case where a protection target user for whom a predetermined privacy protection requirement is satisfied is included in the group, second display information that is processed to protect privacy of the protection target user, to an information terminal device carried by a user not belonging to the group, via the communication device.
