Positioning method, apparatus, electronic device, head-mounted display device, and storage medium

A positioning apparatus, wherein the positioning apparatus is suitable for a head-mounted display device, and the method comprises:

• a first determination module configured to determine a target joint point when a tracking target enters a tracking blind zone;
• the target joint point referring to a joint point in a wearer's body that supports the tracking target to move within the tracking blind zone;
• a second determination module configured to determine position information of the target joint point at current moment;
• a third determination module configured to determine relative positional relationship information between the target joint point and the tracking target at the current moment;
• and
• a fourth determination module configured to determine the position information of the tracking target at the current moment, based on the position information of the target joint point at the current moment and the relative positional relationship information at the current moment.

An electronic device, wherein the electronic device comprises:

• one or more processors;
• a storage for storing one or more programs;
• when executed by the one or more processors, the one or more programs cause the one or more processors to implement the following steps:
• determining a target joint point when a tracking target enters a tracking blind zone;
• the target joint point referring to a joint point in a wearer's body that supports the tracking target to move within the tracking blind zone;
• determining position information of the target joint point at current moment;
• determining relative positional relationship information between the target joint point and the tracking target at the current moment;
• and
• determining the position information of the tracking target at the current moment, based on the position information of the target joint point at the current moment and the relative positional relationship information at the current moment.
