Abstract
A fluid fitting may include a housing having a fluidic channel formed within, configured to convey fluid between a first end of the housing and a second end of the housing, a temperature sensor configured to generate a signal indicative of a temperature of fluid flowing in the fluidic channel, and a wiring channel formed in the housing and configured to house at least a portion of an electrically-conductive path extending from the temperature sensor to the exterior of the housing, the electrically-conductive path configured to communicate the signal from the temperature sensor.
Claims18
An information handling system comprising:
- an information handling resource;
- and
- a liquid cooling system for providing cooling of the information handling resource, wherein the liquid cooling system includes a fluid fitting comprising:
- a housing having a fluidic channel formed within, configured to convey fluid between a first end of the housing and a second end of the housing;
- a temperature sensor configured to generate a signal indicative of a temperature of fluid flowing in the fluidic channel;
- and
- a wiring channel formed in the housing and configured to house at least a portion of an electrically-conductive path extending from the temperature sensor to the exterior of the housing, the electrically-conductive path configured to communicate the signal from the temperature sensor.
A fluid fitting comprising:
- a housing having a fluidic channel formed within, configured to convey fluid between a first end of the housing and a second end of the housing;
- a temperature sensor configured to generate a signal indicative of a temperature of fluid flowing in the fluidic channel;
- and
- a wiring channel formed in the housing and configured to house at least a portion of an electrically-conductive path extending from the temperature sensor to the exterior of the housing, the electrically-conductive path configured to communicate the signal from the temperature sensor.
A method comprising:
- forming a housing with a fluidic channel within, configured to convey fluid between a first end of the housing and a second end of the housing;
- integrating a temperature sensor within the housing, the temperature sensor configured to generate a signal indicative of a temperature of fluid flowing in the fluidic channel;
- and
- forming a wiring channel in the housing, the wiring channel configured to house at least a portion of an electrically-conductive path extending from the temperature sensor to the exterior of the housing, the electrically-conductive path configured to communicate the signal from the temperature sensor.
