Floor panel

A floor panel, wherein said floor panel is rectangular and comprises a first and a second pair of opposite edges,

• wherein said floor panel comprises a substrate and a top layer provided on said substrate;
• said top layer forming at least a global decorative side of said floor panel and being composed at least of a synthetic material film carrying a print, a transparent thermoplastic layer situated above said print and a lacquer layer as the topmost layer in said top layer;
• said substrate being a board material having a density of more than 650 kilograms per cubic meter and forming at least one half of the thickness of said floor panel;
• said substrate being a vinyl-containing, polypropylene-containing or polyethylene-containing substrate;
• wherein said floor panel, at least on one of said first and said second pair of opposite edges, is provided with a straight or curved chamfer adjacent to said global decorative side;
• wherein said print and said lacquer layer extend uninterruptedly from on the global decorative side of the floor panel over the entirety of said chamfer;
• wherein said top layer comprises a pressed-down material part at said chamfer and said substrate at the location of said chamfer comprises a locally compressed portion.
