Abstract
The present invention relates to novel polypeptides having an endonuclease V activity, and uses thereof.
Claims16
An endonuclease V variant which comprises an amino acid sequence that has at least 90% identity to the full length amino acid sequence set forth in SEQ ID NO:1, and (ii) has one or more amino acid substitutions as compared to SEQ ID NO:1 at position(s) selected from the group consisting of C136, C169 and C192, wherein the positions are numbered by reference to the amino acid sequence set forth in SEQ ID NO:1, (iii) has a deoxyinosine-specific nucleic acid cleavage activity and (iv) exhibits improved residual activity under non-reducing condition as compared to endonuclease V of SEQ ID NO:1, and wherein the one or more amino acid substitutions comprises at least one substitution selected from the group consisting of C136W, C169Q, C169G, C169L, C169P, C169W, and C192L.
