Abstract
A cell death inhibitor including a mesenchymal stem cell genetically engineered to secrete growth-regulated oncogene-alpha (GRO-α) or overexpress GRO-α compared to a parent cell, GRO-α, or a combination thereof. A method of treating a muscle disease, including administering a pharmaceutically effective amount of a mesenchymal stem cell, which is genetically engineered to secrete growth-regulated oncogene-alpha (GRO-α) or overexpress GRO-α compared to a parent cell, or GRO-α, to a subject in need thereof.

A cell death inhibitor comprising:
- a mesenchymal stem cell genetically engineered to secrete growth-regulated oncogene-alpha (GRO-α) or overexpress GRO-α compared to a parent cell;
- GRO-α;
- or
- a combination thereof.
A pharmaceutical composition, comprising:
- a mesenchymal stem cell genetically engineered to secrete growth-regulated oncogene-alpha (GRO-α) or overexpress GRO-α compared to a parent cell;
- GRO-α;
- or
- a combination thereof.
A pharmaceutical composition, comprising growth-regulated oncogene-alpha (GRO-α) as an active ingredient.
A health functional food composition, comprising growth-regulated oncogene-alpha (GRO-α) as an active ingredient.
A cell therapy agent, comprising:
- a mesenchymal stem cell genetically engineered to secrete growth-regulated oncogene-alpha (GRO-α) or overexpress GRO-α compared to a parent cell;
