Passive pedal force emulator pedal assembly

An assembly comprising:

• a housing having components for a Hall Effect sensing and includes components for inductive sensing;
• and
• a member that pivotally moves relative to the housing,
• wherein movement of the member is sensed by the components for the Hall Effect sensing and the components for inductive sensing.

An emulator assembly comprising:

• a housing having components for a Hall Effect sensing and components for inductive sensing;
• and
• an elongated member pivotally coupled to the housing;
• wherein:
• the components for the Hall Effect sensing further including:
• a magnetic coupler positioned on the member and configured to move with movement of the member,
• a Hall Effect device configured to detect changes in a magnetic field based on movement of the magnetic coupler;
• and
• a first connector assembly communicatively coupled to the Hall effect device, and
• the components for the inductive sensing further including:
• a coupler positioned on the member and configured to move with movement of the member;
• a transmitter coil;
• at least one receiving coil;
• an inductive device configured to detect changes in inductance based on the position of the coupler;
• and
• a second connector assembly communicatively coupled to the inductive device
• wherein movement of the member is sensed by the components for the Hall Effect sensing and the components for inductive sensing.
