Abstract
Disclosed herein are cell processing systems, devices, and methods thereof. A system for cell processing may comprise a plurality of instruments each independently configured to perform one or more cell processing operations upon a cartridge, and a robot capable of moving the cartridge between each of the plurality of instruments.

A cell processing system, comprising:
- a plurality of instruments configured to perform one or more cell processing operations on one or more cartridges;
- a robot configured to move one or more of the cartridges between two or more of the instruments to perform a predetermined sequence of cell processing steps;
- and
- a controller comprising a processor and memory, the controller configured to:
- receive an input set of cell processing operations and cell processing parameters from a graphical user interface;
- generate an ordered set of cell processing operations and cell processing parameters based on a set of constraints applied to the input set of cell processing operations and cell processing parameters;
- and
- control the plurality of instruments and the robot based on the ordered set of cell processing operations to generate a cell product.
