Abstract
Provided herein are nucleic acid molecules encoding an HPV antigen. Also provided are vaccines against human papillomavirus (HPV) comprising the nucleic acids, methods of inducing immune responses, and methods for prophylactically and/or therapeutically immunizing individuals against recurrent respiratory papillomatosis (RRP). Pharmaceutical compositions, recombinant vaccines comprising DNA plasmid and live attenuated vaccines are disclosed as well as methods of inducing an immune response to treat or prevent RRP are disclosed.
Claims45
A nucleic acid molecule encoding a human papillomavirus (HPV) antigen, the HPV antigen comprising a HPV6 antigenic domain and a HPV11 antigenic domain, wherein the HPV6 antigenic domain comprises a HPV6 E6-E7 fusion antigen comprising a HPV6 E6 antigenic domain and a HPV6 E7 antigenic domain and wherein the HPV11 antigenic domain comprises an HPV11 E6-E7 fusion antigen comprising a HPV11 E6 antigenic domain and a HPV11 E7 antigenic domain.
An immunogenic protein comprising a human papillomavirus (HPV) 6 antigenic domain and a HPV11 antigenic domain, wherein the HPV6 antigenic domain comprises a HPV6 E6-E7 fusion antigen comprising a HPV6 E6 antigenic domain and a HPV6 E7 antigenic domain and wherein the HPV11 antigenic domain comprises an HPV11 E6-E7 fusion antigen comprising a HPV11 E6 antigenic domain and a HPV11 E7 antigenic domain.
