A composition comprising at least 0.5 mg/ml recombinant collagen 7 (rCol7) in a formulation comprising arginine.
A method for increasing closure between epidermis and dermis of the wounded skin in a subject comprising administering to the subject a composition comprising a recombinant collagen 7 in an arginine containing formulation.
