Abstract
An article of clothing is provided and placed between a pair of clamps, each comprised of a respective pairs of member sets. The article is placed on the respective bottom members of the clamps. The upper and lower ends of a pair of spreader mechanisms are secured to the clamps. If reversible clamp member securing mechanisms are present, the respective upper and lower clamps are closed via a member holding mechanism and member clamp securing mechanisms, or member multiple member holding mechanisms. The clamps are secured, and the spreader activation mechanism of each spreader mechanism is activated, thereby placing an expansive force on the article of clothing.

A fabric stretching system, comprised of a set of clamps,
- wherein each of the set of clamps is comprised of a pair of members,
- at least one member holding mechanism for securing each pair of clamp Members to each other, and at least a pair of stretching spreader mechanisms capable of operating with the set of clamps.
