A novel maize variety designated X00V039 and seed, plants and plant parts thereof are produced by crossing inbred maize varieties. Methods for producing a maize plant by crossing hybrid maize variety X00V039 with another maize plant are disclosed. Methods for producing a maize plant containing in its genetic material one or more traits introgressed into X00V039 through backcrossing or genetic transformation, and to the maize seed, plant and plant part produced thereby are described. Maize variety X00V039, the seed, the plant produced from the seed, and variants, mutants, and minor modifications of maize variety X00V039 are provided. Methods for producing maize varieties derived from maize variety X00V039 and methods of using maize variety X00V039 are disclosed.
A seed of hybrid maize variety X00V039, representative seed produced by crossing a first plant of variety 1PGNW61 with a second plant of variety 1PGAW08, wherein representative seed of the varieties 1PGNW61 and 1PGAW08 have been deposited under ATCC Accession Numbers PTA-XXXX and PTA-XXXX, respectively.
A seed of hybrid maize variety X00V039 further comprising a single locus conversion, wherein a plant grown from the seed comprises a trait conferred by the single locus conversion, and wherein the seed is produced by crossing a first plant of variety 1PGNW61 with a second plant of variety 1PGAW08, wherein the first plant, the second plant or both further comprise the single locus conversion, and wherein representative seed of the varieties 1PGNW61 and 1PGAW08 have been deposited under ATCC Accession Numbers PTA-XXXX and PTA-XXXX, respectively.
A method for producing a hybrid maize variety X00V039 seed further comprising a locus conversion, the method comprising crossing a first plant of variety 1PGNW61 with a second plant of variety 1PGAW08, representative seed of the varieties 1PGNW61 and 1PGAW08 having been deposited under ATCC Accession Numbers PTA-XXXX and PTA-XXXX, respectively, wherein at least one of the varieties 1PGNW61 and 1PGAW08 further comprises the locus conversion.
