Abstract
A novel maize variety designated X13P453 and seed, plants and plant parts thereof are produced by crossing inbred maize varieties. Methods for producing a maize plant by crossing hybrid maize variety X13P453 with another maize plant are disclosed. Methods for producing a maize plant containing in its genetic material one or more traits introgressed into X13P453 through backcrossing or genetic transformation, and to the maize seed, plant and plant part produced thereby are described. Maize variety X13P453, the seed, the plant produced from the seed, and variants, mutants, and minor modifications of maize variety X13P453 are provided. Methods for producing maize varieties derived from maize variety X13P453 and methods of using maize variety X13P453 are disclosed.
Claims20
A seed of hybrid maize variety X13P453, representative seed produced by crossing a first plant of variety PH1V69 with a second plant of variety PH4CRF, wherein representative seed of the varieties PH1V69 and PH4CRF have been deposited under ATCC Accession Numbers PTA-XXXX and PTA-XXXX, respectively.
A seed of hybrid maize variety X13P453 further comprising a single locus conversion, wherein a plant grown from the seed comprises a trait conferred by the single locus conversion, and wherein the seed is produced by crossing a first plant of variety PH1V69 with a second plant of variety PH4CRF, wherein the first plant, the second plant or both further comprise the single locus conversion, and wherein representative seed of the varieties PH1V69 and PH4CRF have been deposited under ATCC Accession Numbers PTA-XXXX and PTA-XXXX, respectively.
A method for producing a hybrid maize variety X13P453 seed further comprising a locus conversion, the method comprising crossing a first plant of variety PH1V69 with a second plant of variety PH4CRF, representative seed of the varieties PH1V69 and PH4CRF having been deposited under ATCC Accession Numbers PTA-XXXX and PTA-XXXX, respectively, wherein at least one of the varieties PH1V69 and PH4CRF further comprises the locus conversion.
