Abstract
Garden tools are provided to enable easier gardening with increased gardening and landscaping functionality. The garden tools allow the passing of material through the tool to enable improved landscaping. Certain garden tools include gratings to sift material. Certain garden tools allow material to pass through to allow easier performance of the desired gardening or landscaping function.

A rake comprising:
- a rake head including a rectangular grating connected to a base portion at a first long side of the rectangular grating;
- and
- a portion to connect the rake head to a handle;
- wherein the grating extending from the rake head, the grating having openings to allow material smaller than one of the openings to pass through the grating while catching material larger than one of the openings.
