Method and apparatus for performing resource re-evaluation operation in nr v2x

A first device for performing wireless communication, the first device comprising:

• one or more memories storing instructions;
• one or more transceivers;
• and
• one or more processors connected to the one or more memories and the one or more transceivers, wherein the one or more processors execute the instructions to:
• select a first resource and a third resource within a selection window, based on sensing and resource selection procedure;
• perform re-evaluation related to the first resource, based on triggering of the re-evaluation related to the first resource;
• select a second resource, based on the re-evaluation related to the first resource;
• transmit, to a second device, sidelink control information (SCI) including a first value related to resource reservation period of the second resource, through a physical sidelink control channel (PSCCH), based on the second resource,
• wherein the first value is determined equal to a second value related to resource reservation period of the third resource included within a first period, based on the second resource being included within the first period, and
• wherein the first value is determined to be a value equal to the second value or different from the second value, based on the second resource being included within a second period after the first period;
• and
• transmit, to the second device, a medium access control (MAC) protocol data unit (PDU) through a physical sidelink shared channel (PSSCH), based on the second resource.

A device adapted to control a first user equipment (UE), the device comprising:

• one or more processors;
• and
• one or more memories operably connectable to the one or more processors and storing instructions, wherein the one or more processors execute the instructions to:
• select a first resource and a third resource within a selection window, based on sensing and resource selection procedure;
• perform re-evaluation related to the first resource, based on triggering of the re-evaluation related to the first resource;
• select a second resource, based on the re-evaluation related to the first resource;
• transmit, to a second UE, sidelink control information (SCI) including a first value related to resource reservation period of the second resource, through a physical sidelink control channel (PSCCH), based on the second resource,
• wherein the first value is determined equal to a second value related to resource reservation period of the third resource included within a first period, based on the second resource being included within the first period, and
• wherein the first value is determined to be a value equal to the second value or different from the second value, based on the second resource being included within a second period after the first period;
• and
• transmit, to the second UE, a medium access control (MAC) protocol data unit (PDU) through a physical sidelink shared channel (PSSCH), based on the second resource.
