Method for transmitting and receiving data in a wireless communication system and apparatus therefor

A user equipment (UE) operating in a wireless communication system, the UE comprising:

• one or more transceivers;
• one or more processors;
• and
• one or more memories storing instructions that, based on being executed by the one or more processors, control the UE to perform operations including:
• transmitting, to a base station, capability information,
• wherein the capability information includes information for a transmit precoding matrix indicator (TPMI) group, supported by the UE, which delivers full transmission power, and
• wherein, among precoding matrices for single layer transmission using 4 antenna ports based on TPMI indices 0 to 27, the TPMI group includes a precoding matrix comprising a single column containing at least one ‘0’;
• receiving, from the base station, configuration information related to a Physical Uplink Shared Channel (PUSCH);
• and
• receiving, from the base station, Downlink Control Information (DCI) for scheduling of the PUSCH,
• wherein the DCI includes a field for precoding information and number of layers;
• and
• transmitting, to the base station, the PUSCH based on a precoding matrix related to a TPMI index based on the field,
• wherein, based on the precoding matrix related to the TPMI index being the precoding matrix in the TPMI group, a value for scaling a linear value of a PUSCH transmission power is equal to ‘1’, and
• wherein the PUSCH transmission power is equally split across antenna ports on which the PUSCH is transmitted with non-zero power.

At least one non-transitory computer-readable media storing instructions that, based on being executed by at least one processor, perform operations comprising:

• transmitting, to a base station, capability information,
• wherein the capability information includes information for a transmit precoding matrix indicator (TPMI) group, supported by a User Equipment (UE), which delivers full transmission power, and
• wherein, among precoding matrices for single layer transmission using 4 antenna ports based on TPMI indices 0 to 27, the TPMI group includes a precoding matrix comprising a single column containing at least one ‘0’;
• receiving, from the base station, configuration information related to a Physical Uplink Shared Channel (PUSCH);
• and
• receiving, from the base station, Downlink Control Information (DCI) for scheduling of the PUSCH,
• wherein the DCI includes a field for precoding information and number of layers;
• and
• transmitting, to the base station, the PUSCH based on a precoding matrix related to a TPMI index based on the field,
• wherein, based on the precoding matrix related to the TPMI index being the precoding matrix in the TPMI group, a value for scaling a linear value of a PUSCH transmission power is equal to ‘1’, and
• wherein the PUSCH transmission power is equally split across antenna ports on which the PUSCH is transmitted with non-zero power.
