Method and apparatus for providing radio resource information for sidelink control

An apparatus for wireless communication comprising a processor, configured to implement a method, comprising:

• receive, by a mobile station, a first message that includes a mapping between a plurality of radio network temporary identifiers (RNTIs) and a plurality of resource pools;
• and
• receive, at the mobile station, a second message, wherein the second message indicates at least one resource pool from the plurality of resource pools and resources from within the at least one resource pool.

A non-transitory computer readable program storage medium having code stored thereon, the code, when executed by a processor, causing the processor to implement a method, comprising:

• receiving, by a mobile station, a first message that includes a mapping between a plurality of radio network temporary identifiers (RNTIs) and a plurality of resource pools;
• and
• receiving, at the mobile station, a second message, wherein the second message indicates at least one resource pool from the plurality of resource pools and resources from within the at least one resource pool.
