Abstract
Embodiments of the disclosure provide a method and device for wireless communication. One example method includes: transmitting, by a terminal device, capability information indicating whether the terminal device supports determining a candidate of a measurement gap of positioning reference signal (PRS); receiving, by the terminal device, positioning measurement information of PRS sent by a location management function (LMF); determining, by the terminal device, a first measurement gap for positioning measurement of PRS according to the positioning measurement information of PRS; and transmitting, by the terminal device, information of the first measurement gap to a base station or to the LMF.
Claims20
A method for wireless communication, comprising:
- transmitting, by a terminal device, capability information indicating whether the terminal device supports determining a candidate of a measurement gap of positioning reference signal (PRS);
- receiving, by a terminal device, positioning measurement information of PRS sent by a location management function (LMF);
- determining, by the terminal device, a first measurement gap for positioning measurement of PRS according to the information of PRS;
- and
- transmitting, by the terminal device, information of the first measurement gap to a base station.
A method for wireless communication, comprising:
- receiving, by a base station from a terminal device, capability information indicating whether the terminal device supports determining a candidate of a measurement gap of positioning reference signal (PRS);
- and
- receiving, by the base station, information of a first measurement gap transmitted by at least one of the terminal device or a location management function (LMF), wherein the first measurement gap is determined by the terminal device according to positioning measurement information of PRS.
A terminal device, comprising:
- at least one memory;
- and
- at least one processor coupled to the at least one memory and configured to cause the terminal device to perform operations comprising:
- transmitting, by the terminal device, capability information indicating whether the terminal device supports determining a candidate of a measurement gap of positioning reference signal (PRS);
- receiving, by the terminal device, positioning measurement information of PRS sent by a location management function (LMF);
- determining, by the terminal device, a first measurement gap for positioning measurement of PRS according to the positioning measurement information of PRS;
- and
- transmitting, by the terminal device, information of the first measurement gap to a base station.
