Abstract
This in-vehicle camera includes an infrared light source capable of projecting infrared light, a camera unit including a lens unit and an imaging device unit and having a sensitivity to a wavelength of the infrared light, and a board on which the infrared light source and the camera unit are mounted.

An in-vehicle camera, comprising:
- an infrared light source capable of projecting infrared light;
- a camera unit including a lens unit and an imaging device unit and having a sensitivity to a wavelength of the infrared light;
- and
- a board on which the infrared light source and the camera unit are mounted.
A control apparatus for an in-vehicle camera, the in-vehicle camera being disposed on a side surface of a vehicle and including an infrared light source, a camera unit including a lens unit and an imaging device unit and having a sensitivity to a wavelength of infrared light, and a board on which the infrared light source and the camera unit are mounted, the control apparatus comprising
- a controller that controls ON of the infrared light source on a basis of a recognition result of an image obtained by the in-vehicle camera.
A control method for an in-vehicle camera, the in-vehicle camera being disposed on a side surface of a vehicle and including an infrared light source, a camera unit including a lens unit and an imaging device unit and having a sensitivity to a wavelength of infrared light, and a board on which the infrared light source and the camera unit are mounted, the control method comprising
- controlling ON of the infrared light source on a basis of a recognition result of an image obtained by the in-vehicle camera.
An in-vehicle camera system, comprising:
- an in-vehicle camera including
- an infrared light source capable of projecting infrared light,
- a camera unit including a lens unit and an imaging device unit and having a sensitivity to a wavelength of the infrared light, and
- a board on which the infrared light source and the camera unit are mounted;
- and
- a control apparatus including
- a controller that controls ON of the infrared light source on a basis of a recognition result of an image obtained by the in-vehicle camera.
