Eventing systems and methods to facilitate robust event processing

An event processing device, comprising:

• at least one memory device including a set of profile features related to a user, the set of profile features including event type indicators and event data indicators;
• and
• at least one processor interfacing with the at least one memory device and configured to:
• retrieve a first event relating to at least one of a plurality of apps on a mobile device of the user;
• parse the first event to determine a parsed event corresponding to the first event;
• transmit a notification to the mobile device indicating the parsed event and prompting the user to process the parsed event;
• receive a failure processing signal indicating that the parsed event has not been processed;
• analyze the set of profile features to determine a priority level of the parsed event;
• re-transmitting the notification to the mobile device after a first time period if the determined priority level is high;
• and
• re-transmitting the notification to the mobile device after a second time period if the determined priority level is low, the second time period being longer than the first time period.

An event processing method, comprising:

• retrieving a first event relating to at least one of a plurality of apps on a mobile device of a user;
• parsing the first event to determine a parsed event corresponding to the first event;
• transmitting a notification to the mobile device of the user indicating the parsed event and prompting the user to process the parsed event;
• receiving a failure processing signal indicating that the parsed event has not been processed;
• and
• analyzing a set of profile features related to the user and including event type indicators and event data indicators to determine a priority level of the parsed event;
• re-transmitting the notification to the mobile device after a first time period if the determined priority level is high;
• and
• re-transmitting the notification to the mobile device after a second time period if the determined priority level is low, the second time period being longer than the first time period.

An event processing device, comprising:

• means for storing a set of profile features related to a user, the set of profile features including event type indicators and event data indicators;
• and
• means for processing interfacing with the means for storing, the means for processing being configured to:
• retrieve a first event relating to at least one of a plurality of apps on a mobile device of the user;
• parse the first event to determine a parsed event corresponding to the first event;
• transmit a notification to the mobile device indicating the parsed event and prompting the user to process the parsed event;
• receive a failure processing signal indicating that the parsed event has not been processed;
• analyze the set of profile features to determine a priority level of the parsed event;
• re-transmitting the notification to the mobile device after a first time period if the determined priority level is high;
• and
• re-transmitting the notification to the mobile device after a second time period if the determined priority level is low, the second time period being longer than the first time period.
