## Abstract

An electric motor, in particular for a kitchen machine, is proposed, wherein the rotor of the electric motor comprises a mounting device for mounting permanent magnets inserted in the rotor. The mounting device has a base body and flexible fixing elements projecting from the base body for fixing the permanent magnets, which press the permanent magnets in the radial direction against corresponding stops. Alternatively or additionally, the mounting device can form receiving chambers for receiving overdosed adhesive when bonding the permanent magnets. Further, a kitchen machine having a corresponding electric motor is proposed. Furthermore, a method for assembling an electric motor is proposed in which a permanent magnet is adhesively bonded. For this purpose, a mounting device is used which presses the permanent magnet in the radial direction against a corresponding stop by means of a fixing element in order to fix the permanent magnet during the curing of adhesive, and/or which receives overdosed adhesive in a receiving chamber.
