## Abstract

An online marketplace system generates an online marketplace for seller-financed transactions. The system includes a plurality of listings of transaction offerings that are available. The transaction offerings are listed by a plurality of users and are from a plurality of different categories of products and services. The transaction offerings include a plurality of transaction terms, including payment and seller-financing terms. A transaction engine facilitates the negotiation of transaction terms between users and the formation of agreement between users. Transaction coins are awarded during the successful performance of a transaction according to the agreed upon transaction terms. A reputation engine generates trust profiles and trust scores for users. The trust profiles and trust scores are used by parties to evaluate the trustworthiness of the other party. A user interface engine generates a user interface that includes listings from users and trust scores of those users.

receive, from the user, an offer for the transaction offering;
provide the offer to an operator of the external computing system via an offer message having a link;
transmit the trust profile for the user to the operator of the external computing system responsive to the operator of the external computing system following the link in the offer message, wherein the trust profile is transmitted separately from the offer message; and
in response to receiving, from the operator of the external computing system or from the external computing system, an acceptance of the offer, create a payment plan between the user and the external computing system for the transaction offering.

### Claim 49 (depends on 48)

The online marketplace server of claim 48,
wherein the external computing system is an e-commerce website; and

### Claim 53 (depends on 48)

The online marketplace server of claim 48, wherein the acceptance of the offer is automatically sent by the external computing system in response to determining that a trust score of the trust profile is above a pre-defined minimum trust score.

### Claim 54 (depends on 48)

The online marketplace server of claim 48,
wherein receiving, from the user, the offer for the transaction offering comprises receiving counter transaction terms for the transaction offering; and
wherein providing the offer to the operator of the external computing system via the offer message having the link comprises providing the counter transaction terms to the operator of the external computing system.

### Claim 55 (depends on 48)

### Claim 56 (depends on 48)

The online marketplace server of claim 48, wherein the instructions, when executed by the processor, cause the online marketplace server to provide the payment plan to the external computing system for order fulfillment.

### Claim 57 (depends on 48)

The online marketplace server of claim 48, wherein the instructions, when executed by the processor, further cause the online marketplace server to send periodic updates to one or more of the external computing system or the operator of the external computing system about the payment plan.
