## Abstract

A system for secure data provenance for digital signals, wherein the system comprises a data capture unit, wherein the data capture unit is configured to capture a data signal from a data source, a processing unit communicatively connected to the data capture unit, wherein the processing unit is configured to calculate a plurality of measurements of the data signal as a function of a plurality of data attributes associated with the data signal, generate a digital signature as a function of the plurality of measurements, and assign the digital signature to the data signal, and a data verification module operatively connected to the processing unit, wherein the data verification module is configured to verify the data signal on a temporally sequential listing as a function of the digital signature, and wherein the system is registered on the temporally sequential listing.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A system for secure data provenance for digital signals, wherein the system comprises:
a data capture unit, wherein the data capture unit is configured to capture a data signal from a data source;
a processing unit communicatively connected to the data capture unit, wherein the processing unit is configured to:
calculate a plurality of measurements of the data signal as a function of a plurality of data attributes associated with the data signal;
generating a digital signature as a function of the plurality of measurements; and
assigning a digital signature to the data signal; and
a data verification module operatively connected to the processing unit, wherein the data verification module is configured to:
verify the data signal as a function of the digital signature.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The system of claim 1, wherein capturing the data signal from a data source comprises receiving user data from a user affiliated with the system.

### Claim 3 (depends on 2)

The system of claim 2, wherein the user data comprises at least a public key and at least a private key.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

The system of claim 1, wherein the data capture unit comprises at least a sensor.

### Claim 5 (depends on 1)

The system of claim 1, wherein generating the digital signature comprises receiving the digital signature from a trusted third-party entity.

### Claim 6 (depends on 1)

The system of claim 1, wherein the digital signature comprises a control datum.

### Claim 7 (depends on 1)

The system of claim 1, wherein verifying the data signal on the temporally sequential listing comprises verifying a provenance of the data signal as a function of the plurality of data attributes.

### Claim 8 (depends on 7)

The system of claim 7, wherein verifying the provenance of the data signal comprises ensuring the provenance of the data signal as the data signal transforms from a first stage to a second stage.

### Claim 9 (depends on 1)

The system of claim 1, wherein the data signal can only be verified if the hash value of the data signal is equal to the hash value of the data capture unit.

### Claim 10 (depends on 1)

The system of claim 1, wherein verifying the data signal comprises:
configuring the data capture unit to extract historical data from a data signal database;
comparing the historical data to the plurality of measurements; and
verifying the data signal as a function of the comparison.

### Claim 11

A method for secure data provenance for digital signals, wherein the method comprises:
capturing, using a data capture unit, a data signal from a data source;
calculating, using a processing unit communicatively connected to the data capture unit, a plurality of measurements of the data signal as a function of a plurality of data attributes associated with the data signal;
generating, using the processing unit, a digital signature as a function of plurality of measurements;
assigning, using the processing unit, the digital signature to data; and
verifying, using a data verification module operatively connected to the processing unit, the data signal as a function of the digital signature.

### Claim 12 (depends on 11)

The method of claim 11, wherein capturing the data signal from a data source comprises receiving user data from a user affiliated with the system.

### Claim 13 (depends on 12)

The method of claim 12, wherein the user data comprises at least a public key and at least a private key.

### Claim 14 (depends on 11)

The method of claim 11, wherein the data capture unit comprises at least a sensor.

### Claim 15 (depends on 11)

The method of claim 11, wherein generating the digital signature comprises receiving the digital signature from a trusted third-party entity.

### Claim 16 (depends on 11)

The method of claim 11, wherein the digital signature comprises a control datum.

### Claim 17 (depends on 11)

The method of claim 11, wherein verifying the data signal on the temporally sequential listing comprises verifying a provenance of the data signal as a function of the plurality of data attributes.

### Claim 18 (depends on 17)

The method of claim 17, wherein verifying the provenance of the data signal comprises ensuring the provenance of the data signal as the data signal transforms from a first stage to a second stage.

### Claim 19 (depends on 11)

The system of claim 11, wherein the data signal can only be verified if the hash value of the data signal is equal to the hash value of the data capture unit.

### Claim 20 (depends on 11)

The system of claim 11, wherein verifying the data signal comprises:
configuring the data capture unit to extract historical data from a data signal database;
comparing the historical data to the plurality of measurements; and
verifying the data signal as a function of the comparison.
