Abstract
A method, computer program, and computer system is provided for dynamic Network-Based Media Processing (NBMP) image retrieval. A call for a function from among a function group is received. The function call corresponds to an NBMP request to a workflow manager. A determination is made as to whether an image associated with the received function call is static or dynamic. A pointer to the image is returned based on the image being determined to be dynamic.
Claims20
A method for dynamic Network-Based Media Processing (NBMP) image retrieval executable by a processor, the method comprising:
- receiving a call for a function, the received function call corresponding to an NBMP request to a workflow manager, wherein the received function call comprises an image array processing object with more than one image array elements, wherein an image array element among the more than one image array elements indicates whether a respective image is static or to be constructed dynamically;
- determining whether at least one image associated with the received function call is static or dynamic;
- and
- based on determining that the at least one image associated with the received function call is dynamic, returning a pointer to the at least one image.
A computer system for dynamic Network-Based Media Processing (NBMP) image retrieval, the computer system comprising:
- one or more computer-readable non-transitory storage media configured to store computer program code;
- and
- one or more computer processors configured to access said computer program code and operate as instructed by said computer program code, said computer program code including:
- receiving code configured to cause the one or more computer processors to receive a call for a function, the received function call corresponding to an NBMP request to a workflow manager, wherein the received function call comprises an image array processing object with more than one image array elements, wherein an image array element among the more than one image array elements indicates whether a respective image is static or to be constructed dynamically;
- determining code configured to cause the one or more computer processors to determine whether at least one image associated with the received function call is static or dynamic;
- and
- returning code configured to cause the one or more computer processors to, based on determining that the at least one image associated with the received function call is dynamic, return a pointer to the at least one image.
A non-transitory computer readable medium having stored thereon a computer program for dynamic Network-Based Media Processing (NBMP) image retrieval, the computer program configured to cause one or more computer processors to:
- receive a call for a function, the received function call corresponding to an NBMP request to a workflow manager, wherein the received function call comprises an image array processing object with more than one image array elements, wherein an image array element among the more than one image array elements indicates whether a respective image is static or to be constructed dynamically;
- determine whether at least one image associated with the received function call is static or dynamic;
- and
- based on determining that the at least one image associated with the received function call is dynamic, return a pointer to the at least one image.
