A perovskite-based oxidation catalyst for anion exchange membrane water electrolysis, the perovskite-based oxidation catalyst comprising a perovskite-based oxide of the following Chemical Formula 1:
- La1-xSrxCoO3-y [Chemical Formula 1]
- in Chemical Formula 1, 0≤x≤1 and 0≤y≤0.3.
