Abstract
An exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure provides a system comprising an aerogel and a first phase change material. The aerogel comprises graphene. The first phase change material is imbedded in the aerogel. The system comprises an increased thermal conductivity compared to a thermal conductivity of pure phase change material.
Claims20
A system comprising:
- an aerogel comprising graphene;
- and
- a first phase change material (“PCM”) imbedded in the aerogel.
A method of forming a system comprising phase change material (“PCM”), the method comprising:
- forming an aerogel comprising graphene,
- wherein the aerogel comprises an oxygen content ranging from between approximately 0.1 mol. % to approximately 25 mol. %;
- and
- adding a first PCM within the aerogel.
