Optimizing robotic device performance

A system, the system comprising:

• a memory;
• and
• a processor in communication with the memory, the processor being configured to perform operations comprising:
• receiving environment data associated with one or more robotic devices and an environment, wherein the one or more robotic devices are configured to perform one or more activities in the environment;
• analyzing the environment data and the one or more activities in the environment;
• identifying one or more performance factors associated with the environment;
• generating one or more simulations associated with the one or more performance factors and the one or more robotic devices in the environment;
• and
• applying one or more protective components to the one or more robotic devices, wherein applying the one or more protective components to the one or more robotic devices is based, at least in part, on the one or more simulations.

A computer program product, the computer program product comprising a computer readable storage medium having program instructions embodied therewith, the program instructions executable by a processor to cause the processors to perform a function, the function comprising:

• receiving environment data associated with one or more robotic devices and an environment, wherein the one or more robotic devices are configured to perform one or more activities in the environment;
• analyzing the environment data and the one or more activities in the environment;
• identifying one or more performance factors associated with the environment;
• generating one or more simulations associated with the one or more performance factors and the one or more robotic devices in the environment;
• and
• applying one or more protective components to the one or more robotic devices, wherein applying the one or more protective components to the one or more robotic devices is based, at least in part, on the one or more simulations.
