Partner snore feature for adjustable bed foundation

A controlling device for a sleep system, the controlling device comprising:

• a first control button, wherein selection of the first control button causes the controlling device to generate and wirelessly transmit a first set of one or more control signals that, when received by an articulation control system of a bed support, cause the articulation control system to increase an incline angle of a first head support section of the bed support;
• a second control button, the second control button being distinct from the first control button, wherein selection of the second control button causes the controlling device to generate and wirelessly transmit a second set of one or more control signals that, when received by the articulation control system of the bed support, cause the articulation control system to decrease the incline angle of the first head support section of the bed support;
• a first preset position button, the first preset position button being distinct from the first and second control buttons, wherein selection of the first preset position button causes the controlling device to generate and wirelessly transmit a third set of one or more control signals that, when received by the articulation control system of the bed support, cause the articulation control system to adjust the incline angle of the first head support section of the bed support to a first preset position;
• a second preset position button, the second preset position button being distinct from the first and second control buttons and the first preset position button, wherein selection of the second preset position button causes the controlling device to generate and wirelessly transmit a fourth set of one or more control signals that, when received by the articulation control system of the bed support, cause the articulation control system to adjust the incline angle of the first head support section of the bed support to a second preset position, the second preset position being distinct from the first preset position;
• and
• an anti-snore preset position button, anti-snore preset position button being distinct from the first and second control buttons and the first and second preset position buttons, wherein selection of the anti-snore preset position button causes the controlling device to generate and wirelessly transmit a fifth set of one or more control signals that, when received by the articulation control system of the bed support, cause the articulation control system to adjust at least a portion of the bed support to a snore-reducing preset position.

A sleep system comprising:

• a bed support comprising:
• a first support section for supporting a mattress;
• a first articulation motor for articulating a first head support section of the first support section of the bed support;
• and
• an articulation control system configured to control the first articulation motor in response to wirelessly received control signals;
• and
• a controlling device comprising:
• a first control button, wherein selection of the first control button causes the controlling device to generate and wirelessly transmit a first set of one or more control signals that, when received by the articulation control system of the bed support, cause the articulation control system to increase an incline angle of the first head support section of the bed support;
• a second control button, the second control button being distinct from the first control button, wherein selection of the second control button causes the controlling device to generate and wirelessly transmit a second set of one or more control signals that, when received by the articulation control system of the bed support, cause the articulation control system to decrease the incline angle of the first head support section of the bed support;
• a first preset position button, the first preset position button being distinct from the first and second control buttons, wherein selection of the first preset position button causes the controlling device to generate and wirelessly transmit a third set of one or more control signals that, when received by the articulation control system of the bed support, cause the articulation control system to adjust the incline angle of the first head support section of the bed support to a first preset position;
• a second preset position button, the second preset position button being distinct from the first and second control buttons and the first preset position button, wherein selection of the second preset position button causes the controlling device to generate and wirelessly transmit a fourth set of one or more control signals that, when received by the articulation control system of the bed support, cause the articulation control system to adjust the incline angle of the first head support section of the bed support to a second preset position, the second preset position being distinct from the first preset position;
• and
• an anti-snore preset position button, anti-snore preset position button being distinct from the first and second control buttons and the first and second preset position buttons, wherein selection of the anti-snore preset position button causes the controlling device to generate and wirelessly transmit a fifth set of one or more control signals that, when received by the articulation control system of the bed support, cause the articulation control system to adjust at least a portion of the bed support to a snore-reducing preset position.
