Abstract
An improved multi functional fishing rod holder made of steel wire includes a circular base (1), compression coil (2), uniquely designed square washers (3), bolt (4), and wing nut (5) to create a stand alone fishing rod holder. In accordance with the invention the stand alone fishing rod holder can be adapted to fastening to a variety of surfaces such as a pale or wall by incorporating a “U” shaped extension arm (6) with thumb screw (7) thereby providing the ability to fasten fishing rod holder to a variety of surfaces such as a pail. In addition using “L” plate (11), spacer (9) and lock washer (10) and or mount plate (12) creates ability to mount on a flat surface such as a wall.
Claims3
A fishing rod and reel holder comprised of:
- a circular base made of metal wire approximately ten inches in diameter embodied with metal extension arm consisting of two additional metal wires connected to outside edge of said base, then to opposite side of said base diameter laterally then to curve upward approximately ninety degrees in an arc where said arc enjoins the two said lateral wires at the end of the said curve creating a guide route whereby a compression coil is directly connected to said circular base of said lateral extension arm with two uniquely designed square washers and attached with bolt and wing nut thereby said compression coil is embodied to said circular base which establishes ability to insert rod and reel into holder as well as ability of threading rod and reel into said compression coil if desired combined with the feature of adjusting rod point angle side to side or up and down, and also creating ability to reel in a fish while rod and reel remains in said fishing rod and reel holder.
A fishing rod and reel holder consisting of:
- a curved extension arm made of two metal wires approximately ten inches length each enjoined in an arc of said two metal wires arcing approximately ninety degrees, while opposite end of said curved extension arm embodies a threaded U shaped ending approximately two inches side to side and two inches deep, thereby creating ability to connect said rod and reel holder to a variety of surfaces including pail or mount plate securely with thumb screw of said threaded U shaped ending of said curved extension arm then creating guide route where said compression coil to be secured to said curved extension arm with two said uniquely designed square washers with bolt and wing nut creating ability to adjust the direction rod direction both up and down or side to side while securing holder with thumb screw to a variety of surfaces as well as threading rod and reel into said compression coil if desired.
